I am impressed by Gemma 4, there’s a lot of power for an on-device model at fast speeds. But I am not convinced you can get real agentic workflows out of a small model on device. So much depends on model judgement, self-correction, and accuracy. Small models are too weak there.

Gary Marcus Criticizes LLMs and Predicts Economic Crash
By

Are you following @GaryMarcus on these issues? He believes LLMs won't lead to true artificial intelligence, and I'm wholly convinced by his arguments. Your what-if questions point to a calamitous truth. This is the worst misappropriation of capital in history. Crash incoming. [Translated from EN to English]

I asked Opus 4.6 to rewrite one of its outputs for me and it responded: "Honestly — it's fine the way it is." Guess we have AGI.

At no other time in history was this possible.

Obsidian is a $350M company built by 3 engineers, and their operating system is wildly unconventional:
• ~1 million users per employee (7 full-time staff total)
• Fully remote with only 1 in-person meetup per year
