Open weights models debate – request for persuasive project links
By
–
I talk to lots of people in the open weights space, including some of the key players. I use open weights models, I think I just disagree with you (in part because I care a log about non-coding uses). Feel free to send a link to the project/idea that might persuade me otherwise

Anthropic uses moral language to justify opaque and anti-competitive behavior
By

Anthropic is a company wrapping a business model in moral language, then using that language to justify opaque model behavior, anti-competitive access rules, regulatory pressure, and a future where builders, startups, researchers, and Opensource communities stay downstream of a

ATTENTION !!!!

Access to frontier models cut off, changing the future
By

It is absolutely crazy how the last two weeks have changed the entire future. It is unprecedented that access to "frontier" models was cut off,and presumably remains cut off forever. It feels like a watershed moment, as if access to the highest level of human intelligence had

AI Agents: Trust Problem Solved by New Architecture
By

The problem with AI agents isn't intelligence. It's trust.
— Ronald van Loon (@Ronald_vanLoon) 27 juin 2026
The moment an agent becomes useful, it also becomes dangerous.
Here's the architecture that changes that.

Frontier models improve but insufficient for reliable medical use
By

Thanks for running our open-source work on current frontier models “The results are: the most capable models today (GPT-5.5 Pro) did outperform the best models from before (79/100 vs 69/100), but did not improve enough to be considered sufficient for reliable medical use.” Read

100 organizations regain Fable 5 access as Commerce lifts embargo but public restricted
By
–
About 100 organizations got access to fable 5/mythos 5 again. Department of commerce is slowly lifting the embargo for those models. However, I still think that public access will remain heavily restricted—either with significantly stricter guardrails or a lobotomized model.
