The Apple Quest can record 3D video, but I wish the cameras were better, because this could have been an amazing tool for 3D content creators. Apple missed a big market here! Spending 4000 USD on an immersive 180° 3D camera is justifiable to filmmakers and many Youtubers.

Just spent the afternoon with the new Apple Quest. Amazing display (but heavy) and the interface is slick (although mostly familiar from the original Quest). Passthrough is impressive. It integrates with the Mac, but lacks native apps, and no Youtube 3D.
