600 Native Apps Launch: Gaming, Streaming, and 3D Experiences
By
–
It launched with over 600 native apps. I’ve only explored a few. Fruit Ninja was really fun. Disney+ with 3D movies is really cool. @Polycam3D was actually really cool but still has a lot of kinks to work out. Loved it but it was the buggiest of the apps I tried.

Mac Keyboard Input Challenges and Text-to-Speech Solutions
By

You could using your Mac keyboard or using text to speech. No way you could with the built in keyboard. That still feels kind of rough to type with. If your eye accidentally looks at the wrong letter while your finger tries to press the right one, it usually types the wrong one.

Apple Quest VR Headset: Impressive Tech, Missing Killer App
By
–
The Apple Quest is well executed and the tech is truly impressive. No more screen door effect! I felt the weight of the headset and eye strain when using it for a few hours, and I did not yet encounter a killer app while using it. But I am glad that Apple joins Meta to build VR.

Apple 3D Tracking Enables Real-World Tool Integration for Creative Apps
By
–
I don't know the resolution limits of Apple's 3D tracking, but it seems to be extremely fast and high fidelity. Perhaps we can write apps that allow us to grab real world tools (such as brushes and toy guns) and use them to draw on surfaces and in space, or to play games?
