Closed-source AI models copyright compliance debate
By

I know you don’t talk a lot about them but I’d be curious to know your stance on closed-source models one day Alex Like where do you think models that are being integrated everywhere today like GPT-4, Bard or Claude are standing on the scale of copyright compliance?

“[The people building AI] say it’s a world-changing technology. If that’s the case, then they have a duty to find ways for A.I. to make the world better without first making it worse.” Such an edifying piece.

people who say "nobody knows" how ai does what it does are, at this point, obfuscating (and/or *they* don't know). systems are still commonly called "black boxes" etc but it's increasingly clear how they work (which can vary based on things like the architecture of the model).
