I mean, their safety record is a significant improvement, even when they are in full self driving mode. Since there are over 40,000 highway fatalities per year in the US alone there’s lots of room for improvement

Temperature allows you to make a bot more consistent, to the point where it will be close to deterministic with temperature=0, or more creative and unpredictable with higher temperatures.
