I get the sentiment but I genuinely enjoy building things regardless of whether AGI is 2 or 20 years away. The people who build because they love it will keep building. The ones doing it purely for the exit are the ones who should maybe reconsider.

tbh it sounds like you don't understand a lot about the design. Agents will happily lie to you unless you tell them to write stuff to a file (hello agents.md). Different channels are isolated on purpose, and to save context/token. You can use agent2agent or write to a file.
