Causal chains can be created based on assumptions and logic only. Then if you have a proposed policy, it's implementation should at least be scientific… (Try multiple policies, control group.)

This feature would be OK for me if it was stitching together faces (only) from a 2s to 5s burst capture, in order to find good expressions for everyone in the photo. (Wedding photographers do this when necessary; as the groups get larger it's a matter of luck otherwise.)

Oh, there's a case of liabilities for sure. If they let in random stuff, they don't know the origins. If they do it with their own models trained on their own data, they know exactly what went in. I don't see traditional stock photography surviving beyond dataset licensing.
