Not true at all. And even if humans are still doing the interviews, and being interviewed, AI will do everything else and greatly increase their value.

I can see more and more AI will be breaking news actually. Yeah, people still needed, but less and less over time.

These are the products ppl have to use not to get dinged on performance reviews for "not using AI." These are products teachers have to use in schools so that "students aren't left behind." Not even talking about what we learned about what we learned about how they do things

It has become pretty routine to make fun of @geoffreyhinton's prediction that #AI would soon replace radiologists, as there is no evidence for it so far. But… "CEO of America’s largest public hospital system says he’s ready to replace radiologists with AI" (Note that doctors enjoy regulatory protection that the average white-collar worker can only dream of.) #RiseoftheRobots Link in reply

NEW EPISODE: @jack & @roelofbotha unpack @blocks 40% staff cut and rebuilding the entire company as a mini-AGI. This isn’t “use AI to make people more productive.” It’s making the company itself the intelligence. If you’re a founder or operator wondering what work looks like in the next 5 years… this is the episode. The evolution looks like: • Manager mode = Pyramid 🔺 (command & control) • Founder mode = Flat ➖(founders decide fast) • Dorsey mode = Circle 🔵 w/ AI at the center, humans at the edge, and decisions flow from customer inputs → AI → humans steering it I’ve tried killing org charts before. Brutally hard. But we never had these tools. This is rewriting the CEO playbook for the AI era. Buckle up. 00:00 Existential Dread & Hope 02:56 AI Replaces Hierarchy 07:22 Block’s New Three Roles 26:47 Flattening the Company, Fast 35:23 Getting the Board to Buy-In, Fast 36:50 Building a Great Board 41:29 Founder CEO Lessons 48:18 Second Acts & Conviction 56:22 Timeless CEO Traits

You can say your CTO lead is not doing his/ her job. > Show proof and suggest replacements. You can feedback that the core team is missing. > Replace them. Don’t complain. You do it. Lead it with the community.

Sam Altman predicted in 2024 that a one-person billion-dollar company "would have been unimaginable without A.I., and now it will happen." He just emailed the NYT saying he won a bet with tech CEO friends over when it would arrive, and that he "would like to meet the guy." The

A first-of-its-kind study from MIT measures how successful AI is in completing thousands of tasks done by workers in the US economy. Across these real-world tasks, they found that AI capabilities are improving quickly, but performance is rising smoothly: bit.ly/3Q1JQZD [Translated from EN to English]
