AI tools finally taking design seriously at Microsoft Build
By

Good morning! Microsoft Build starts in about an hour and @Dipanjan_Dey brings a new taste to builders.
— Robert Scoble (@Scobleizer) 2 juin 2026
One of the things I've learned by building https://t.co/kiuZ7QXLzb is that AIs tend to have "blah" design tastes.
Great to see AI tools take design seriously.

In building https://
alignednews.com/ai one of my weaknesses has been design (it watches 30,000 posts every day and tells you what is important in AI). I will try this to see how its taste improves things. Thanks! Great to see you respond to @a16z

State-Externalizing Harnesses Shift Environment State from Policy to Harness
By

OpenAI is on a winning streak: Codex passed 4M weekly users, 5x since February. Knowledge workers are now a fifth of them, growing 3x faster than developers. The tool OpenAI built for coders is being adopted fastest by people who don't code. All figures from OpenAI's own

Humans as bottleneck for AI code quality checks
By
–
Since a lot of comments ask about it, they cannot really say anything about code quality using their methods. In part, the reason humans are the bottleneck is because humans are doing some sort of quality check on output, acting as a needed complement to AI coding.
