AI keeps moving up the timeline on cancer detection. Mayo Clinic just built an AI called REDMOD that spots pancreatic cancer on routine CT scans 16 months before doctors do. It caught 73% of early cancers. On scans more than two years before diagnosis, it was nearly 3x better.
