That’s why I prefaced it with not being a fan of the China model. Seen and heard too many things over the last few decades. But agree that we get in our own way here in the U.S. because the system is set up to drag out the process so everyone can make their money in the middle

May be there is the right intent, but the risk of the future being closed and controlled by a few, aided by the regulations drafted by folks (who don't understand AI anyways) is very evident!

The easy availability of these solutions can lead to misuse and unintended consequences. And focus of Gov should be these actors and organizations. #AI is a very powerful tool, but the agency is with the humans and organizations. Policy should focus on impact & not technicals
