And I cut the prompt a short due to character limits, I specifically asked for Klint's Grupp IX/SUW, Svanen, nr 17. Which is exactly what I got. Here are the paintings as represented by super cute animals.

SVG Scalable Vector Graphics Explained Web Design Animation
By
–
SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics. In simple terms, it is an image format built entirely out of code and mathematical formulas rather than a grid of colored pixels. Here is a breakdown of how it works and why it is so widely used in web design and animation: @GeminiApp

Creating Complex SVG Animations with Gemini Deep Think

What's an SVG? This entire interface is an SVG made with Deep Think mode in Gemini. 🤯 (For those wondering, SVGs are code-based graphics that stay perfectly crisp no matter how far you zoom in!)

Images 2.0 Pro one-try success vs ten Thinking failures
By
–
I know but that was before the Images 2.0 release. The image at the top of this thread was made using Pro in one try, and before I had Pro I did ~10 tries with Thinking and they all had unacceptable errors. I’m pretty sure it’s different.

Extended thinking produces helper images for multimodal input; Pro beats Thinking Heavy.
By
–
Yes. It’s counterintuitive but extended thinking actually helps now because it can code-gen “helper images” in the CoT to use as multimodal input for the final generation. Pro is clearly a better image generator than even Thinking Heavy though.

I use this for my newsletter header images (classic commercial work which would otherwise be stock photography or, if I was ever incredibly organized, commissioned digital art) and the archives are a timeline of capabilities progress.

Image generation bug fix improves model choice relevance
By
–
Can’t emphasize this enough. I was locked out of Pro image gen due to a deployment bug (fixed just tonight), and it’s much better. The old intuition says model choice and image quality are unrelated because it all funnels to a txt2img tool call, and that intuition is now wrong.
