FWIW: Sam Alman has already said "no thank you" with his own counter-offer quip on X. Plus, OpenAI's board doesn't have the same fiduciary duty as Twitter's board, so it's not under the same financial & legal pressure to consider the offer…Right?

OpenAI's ad for ChatGPT — it’s first ever Super Bowl ad — just ran in the 2nd quarter shortly before halftime. Interesting that it didn't mention OpenAI or ChatGPT until the very last second of the ad. Until then it was mostly animated visuals and a few audio prompt examples.
