More generally, if I see someone coding productively using an approach that's different to the status quo, I don't close the file. I learn everything I can about why they did that, since it's likely it's very intentional and might be a source of insights.

We released an updated sales table on Northbeam this week and had a 95% adoption rate switching over. It was a labor of love to build it as the initial idea was started in Jan of this year!
