July 79 I was Moravec's gopher 1 to 6am nightly for his Cart 1meter/15mins indoors. Tonight, 44(!) years later, as often, took autonomous @Cruise home in SF, pretty good (better than in daylight). Progress continues. But it takes time. Decade(s) from full deployment nationwide.
