I don’t usually get excited about Claude models at all. Look at my track record. When it comes back, try it on a task you feel is completely out of reach for modern AI. Use a /loop prompt that provides a way to verify the result, and tell it not to stop until it’s perfect.

Fable’s magic lies in tasks beyond other models’ capabilities
By
–
Seeing so many people saying Fable wasn’t that much better than other models. Sure, if you’re just doing normal frontend/backend work that Opus/GPT 5.5 can already do, it’s going to feel basically the same. The magic comes when you’re asking it to do things other models can’t.

Google’s privacy restrictions hinder Gemini’s performance versus rivals
By
–
There is a simple reason why Gemini is so much worse than GPT or Claude engineers at OpenAI or Ant can read incoming user queries. all the data is visible but at Google there are tons of privacy restrictions preventing ppl from looking at data basically building a model blind

GLM-5.2 Max gives correct poem, Fable weaves disappearing letters into theme
By
–

Credit to GLM-5.2 Max, the new open weights model, for pulling this off. …but you can see the difference between it and Fable in a way benchmarks don't show. GLM-5.2 gives a correct poem (& the Welsh is fun) but Fable weaves the disappearing letters into the theme of the poem.

GLM 5.2 numbers imply quicker Fable 5 arrival than predicted

GLM 5.2 numbers make me believe I was too conservative in my own prediction 2 months tops and we'll have Fable 5 at home
