He should support @A2RLeague They have many innovators involved. I saw them race a Formula 2 robot faster than the human could go for the first time last year.

NASCAR Hires First AI Director, Inspires Kids in STEM
By
–
One way to get kids into technology or science fields is to take them to a NASCAR race and get them to meet the people racing the cars. When I did that I met many people who had PhDs in various fields. Another proof of that: AI News (@DailyAITechNews) 🏎️ NASCAR is accelerating into the world of AI with the appointment of its first Director of Artificial Intelligence. This move puts them in the fast lane alongside F1 and IndyCar, as they explore AI for strategy and operations. Brain-to-Finger Latency Surpassed by Robotic AI Intelligence

You didn't know that your brain to finger has latency, did you?

Multimodal Video Analysis Tests Discontinued Due Cost Concerns
By

That’s not accurate. There were private tests of multimodal video analysis in the past, but they’re no longer available now. The most likely reason is the cost. https://t.co/poI2PRkrZp

Web Scraping vs API Compliance for AI News Aggregation
By
–
Scraping is against X's Terms of Service. How do you get around that? I guess it's OK for personal use, since X can't tell you are scraping, but if you build a public site, like mine: https://
alignednews.com/ai which uses the X API, then I can't scrape, but have to be legit. -

This is exactly what DISCO does but at insane, inhuman scale. Given numerous chemical constraints including binding targets and off-targets, it generates proposals for wet-lab testing at unprecedented throughput. For @martoskreto, @AlexanderTong7, and me, it also means bringing Feynman-Kac Correctors from idea stage to a successful practical technique! Jarrid Rector-Brooks (@jarridrb) What if AI could invent enzymes that nature hasn’t seen? 👩🔬🧑🔬 Introducing 🪩 DISCO: Diffusion for Sequence-structure CO-design 14 rounds of directed evolution and over a year of wet lab work. That's what it took to engineer an enzyme for selective C(sp³)–H insertion, one of the most challenging transformations in organic chemistry. DISCO surpasses this with a single plate. No pre-specified catalytic residues, no template, no theozyme, no inverse folding, just joint diffusion over protein sequence and structure. 📝 Blog: disco-design.github.io/ 📄 Paper: arxiv.org/abs/2604.05181 💻 Code: github.com/DISCO-design/DISC… — https://nitter.net/jarridrb/status/2041893841301860542#m

Newton the Magician: Science as Pattern Recognition

He was the last of the magicians, the last great mind which looked out on the visible and intellectual world with the same eyes as those who began to build our intellectual inheritance rather less than 10,000 years ago." And as Michael jokes, what are these great scientists actually doing? Writing down squiggles on a page based on observations and these mysterious cosmic connections, then using it to accomplish miracles. Launching rockets, creating atomic bombs. "That's exactly what magicians do." Keynes was shocked to find that Newton's alchemy and theology used the same methods as his physics: "There was extreme method in his madness. All his unpublished works on esoteric and theological matters are marked by careful learning, accurate method and extreme sobriety of statement. They are just as sane as the Principia, if their whole matter and purpose were not magical. They were nearly all composed during the same twenty-five years of his mathematical studies."
