It’s been done for PDF but targeting LLMs that use conventional pdf2txt. Resume use case isn’t new but there’s more you can do with it being an image. The core trick dates back to 1990s keyword stuffing at least.

I should note that these example equations are pretty famous – they're for cross-entropy and adam optimiser; obviously GPT4 recognised them, since it named the functions correctly, although I never said what they were. Perhaps for less-known equations it would be less good.
