One very West Coast oversight in current AI models: not emphasizing Excel files and especially spreadsheets with formulas & structured financial data. Financial modeling is an obvious use case that would deliver a lot of value. AI is super close to pulling this off, but not yet.

From testing the Mixtral 8x22B base model, it seems pretty clear that a lot of instruction/chat data was trained into the base model. Even without fine-tuning, it's already capable of acting as a pretty great assistant, just via prompting.
