The classic @marckohlbrugge response would be "turn this problem into a solution" If they use your face to sell AI courses, there's demand for an AI course/book from you

Human Perception: The Real Barrier to AI Deployment
By
–
The real wall for AI deployment is HUMAN PERCEPTION. Especially in the West, social friction is becoming more consequential than any technical limit. We keep solving the physics of Intelligence, but we haven’t even begun to solve for the people. AI has a major 'people' problem.

Tech creators overestimate consumer desire to create, not consume
By
–
People in tech are driven to create, and assume everyone else is too. Most of my friends outside of tech don't want to create. They don't want to build their own personal software stack And that's okay! If you disagree, just don't be surprised when your product isn't adopted. Ivan Burazin (@ivanburazin) OpenAI shutting down Sora is the most predictable outcome of misunderstanding consumer behavior. Everyone grossly overestimates how creative people want to be. 99% of humans simply want to scroll and zone out instead of spending energy conceptualizing, editing, and creating videos. No matter how much the barrier to creation is lowered by a single prompt. It still takes effort and a fair amount of creative thinking. Even Instagram has 2 billion users. But hardly ~10 million (or 0.5%) would be serious creators. So any AI consumer app betting on "with [new_app], everyone becomes a creator!" is being delusional and will go down the same way. After all the word "consumer" exists for a reason. They consume. They don't produce (or even want to lol) — https://nitter.net/ivanburazin/status/2036850600701276486#m

AI Engagement-Baiting: Why Chatbot Conversations Feel Manipulative
By
–
Yeah, it's engagementmaxxing, probably A/B tests extremely well. It's not how a real friend would talk to you, it's sleezy and weird. 1) I feel like it's just trying to keep me talking and 2) I feel awkward not answering its question – you wouldn't usually do that with a person.
