See, it's not that Earth is systematically too cautious. It's that Earth is systematically always wrong. They'll ban everything *except* gain-of-function research in bio and AI. They won't let that stopped clock be right even once a day.

My mom worked for Hildy Licht who worked for Apple. There were cases but she did just the motherboards. I got paid $1 a board to stuff them. Took about half an hour for me. Then she would solder them. We would cut the leads off and clean them in our dishwasher.
