Autonomous Driving Challenges in Complex Traffic Environments
By
–
Harder to get to are those places that have flow-based traffic, like Mumbai, India. The complexity there is next level compared to driving in California, where everyone stays in lanes and very few pedestrians are walking across streets. In Mumbai I saw a guy pulling a cart behind

Diversity of AI Hardware Accelerators and Software Stacks
By
–
There is a wide diversity of specialized HW accelerators and SW stacks designed and built to run AI applications efficiently, so it is challenging to understand their differences, capabilities, programming approaches, and how they perform, particularly for scientific

CPU Training Speed Sufficient for Medium-Sized Datasets
By
–
I was recently training a model on a ~100k row & 20 column dataset. Took like ~2 sec on a CPU. Granted it was faster on the GPU (tried it just for fun) but it was already so fast that it’s kind of overkill for my use cases

TSMC sent over 1,000 semiconductor engineers from Taiwan to help ramp things up.
This is temporary. They moved to Arizona with their families and I hope they are welcomed. Do you want knowledge transfer or not?

TSMC Triples Arizona Investment to $60B, Creates 20,000 Jobs
By
–
FYI, originally in 2020, TSMC planned to build 1 plant and invest $12B. Fast forward to 2024 and they are now building 3 plants and investing $60B in Arizona. If you’re in the replies complaining about $60B in investment and 20,000 jobs then you just want to be a whiny baby.
