Luddites Opposed Technology Deployment, Not Automation Itself

Interestingly (and perhaps very relevantly) the Luddites were not, in fact, opposed to the use of automation at all. I suspect the same is true of these writers. It's more a question of how technology is deployed and who it benefits from it. https://
