You're assuming AI only executes what it's handed. It won't – it'll help you form the intent too: ask the right questions, surface the tradeoffs, push back on a bad goal. "Knowing what to want" isn't the safe human skill that survives. It's just the next thing AI absorbs.

AI Agent Controls Space Engineers 2 Character and Environment
By
–
Yesterday Stompie and I spent the whole day building an interface that lets him into Space Engineers 2 – observe the world, control his character, access grids. He can enter a cockpit, turn a ship's lights on/off, open doors. Switch his reflexes to defensive mode, walk crouched,

AI Will Bring Expertise, Users Bring Intent
By

People think they need to learn how to use AI before it can help them. That may be true today, but it'll be a wrong assumption in a year or two.
You won't bring the expertise. The AI will. You'll bring the intent.

Practical Path to RSI: Improving the Model Harness and Tools
By

The near-term path for RSI (recursive self-improvement) is not necessarily about the model directly improving its own weights. A more practical path is improving the harness around the model: tools, middleware, long-term memory, skills, evals, feedback loops. I saw a recent

Ok, technically it's a truncated icosahedron protective cage around a drone. But look at it.
→ Safe around people
→ Props fully protected
→ Cage crumples on impact so the drone doesn't
→ Won't snag on obstacles
→ Rolls on contact —… pic.twitter.com/v9WPJbx52GGoodAI is building a tiny Death Star. Ok, technically it's a truncated icosahedron protective cage around a drone. But look at it. → Safe around people

GoodAI Swarm Robotics: Autonomous Exploration

Test of autonomous exploration in a simulated environment (a model of our office). With a single button click, the drone autonomously explored almost the entire building – it only missed the last part of the offices.
