Indeed, that is an issue. It can be addressed by having a multiturn conversation with the system ("Actually I wanted the text to be green") and allowing iterative refinement/correction that way, or the user can edit the generated code after the system generates a first cut.

Fostering Curiosity in Children Through Tinkering and Problem-Solving

Not my daughter (mine are ~30 and 25). If I had to suggest, I would say create an environment where your kids can tinker and help them get started and give them nudges when they're stuck, but mostly just try to instill curiosity. But maybe @rickyrobinett has some advice?
