But why? It seems to me that the generative output would be the equivalent of stimuli. You describe where they came from and then provide the actual outputs in an appendix.

I think you're being willfully obtuse here. Weather stations have sensors and report on sensor data. Financial data reflects sales that happen in the real world. There is a reason I refer to ChatGPT output as *synthetic*.
