I'm pretty sure that 10 years from now we will have these things at home just as we have robot vacuums. Give these LLM's with memory as brains, or what ever comes after the LLM and we have small, autonomous agents that lives beside us. Black Mirror vibes.

Maybe one way to think about it is that rules and rights going hand in hand. When you have rights, usually there are some rules/duties that correspond. E.g. the right to privacy, then there are some rules that can help uphold those rights, which may be implicit?

I don't think it specifically talks about the natural state of things, rather Hobbes argues that rules are necessary to live in a society, and as citizens we agree to 1) establishment of a set of moral rules to govern us and 2) the government can enforce them.
