The guardrails are way too strict. Even the simplest questions get cut off immediately. And it's only on the schedule until June 22nd. Damn, Anthropic really thinks the model is too powerful.

My first task for Fable was to recreate a disco hall from a photo using Three.js. It worked for 15 minutes before switching to Opus because of a safety filter, which felt a bit odd. Did a great job though. Artifact: https://

So far, the minimum we need to know. Now it's time to tackle the System Card of only 319 pages 🙂 Link https://www-cdn.anthropic.com/d00db56fa754a1b115b6dd7cb2e3c342ee809620.pdf …

The HyperFrames engine leaving the terminal and becoming a Claude connector is a bigger deal than it looks.

Ask for a video the way you'd ask for the report. No repo, no setup. That's the version of AI video that non-developers will actually use. https://t.co/Z8q8tb0a7p

It’s about twice as expensive as Opus, but Fable 5 / Mythos 5 is the most capable AI on the planet (Also, why does every model seem to suck on the legal agent benchmark?)

Fable 5 is now available in Claude Code and Cowork

Fable is the best model I have used for coding, by a wide margin. It is a big step up, enabling less prompts and steers, more efficient token use, better code quality, better tool use, more intelligent self-verification, longer… https://t.co/RmVfZh39Ht

I mean, i guess so. obv. i havent tested both, or even fable sufficiently. but reading their blogpost and looking at the evals, i dont see how GPT-5.6 can compete right now. Of course, you wont use Fable 5 for every task and GPT-5.5 is a beast. but given the different use cases,

Pricing. According to reports, roughly double the current pricing levels of Claude Opus — down from the 5x Opus suggested by Mythos's initial pricing. Next time, they'll announce that the new model is 100x more expensive, so we are

Claude 5 Fable tl;dr – It is state-of-the-art on nearly all tested benchmarks of AI capability, showing exceptional performance in software engineering, knowledge work, vision, scientific research -The longer and more complex the task, the larger Fable 5’s lead over our other

By observing the precision/cost frontier on the FrontierCode benchmark we discussed, we can see the spectacular slope of computation at the time of testing this new model. Look how it rises! Even in the low configuration, the model performs — and costs — more.
