AI agents as solution for complex challenges
By
–
You pretty much described my own experience and exasperation to the T. I’ve been contemplating the alternative and possible solution for years. Anything I could think of would take too much time/effort/buy in to be feasible. Maybe the AI agents can become powerful enough soon

AI-driven mass unemployment and assisted suicide extinction scenario
By

Here is a very plausible AI causing mass human extinction scenario: 1. AI causes mass unemployment and social disruption. 2. Vast majority of people *at best* become seriously depressed. 3. AI “doctors” offer them assisted sui**de as a “compassionate” solution. 4. People,

It's not that difficult, to be honest. Talking to your agents is all you need.

AI Agents Self-Improve by Rewriting Their Own Instructions
By
–
This is how AI agents self-improve in 2026. My OpenClaw AI agents rewrite their own instructions when something breaks and self-improve. Every Thursday, Kelly runs a self-review. She opens my profile, compares what she drafted vs what I actually posted, and measures the gap. Last week she found only 70% of her drafts shipped. She diagnosed the problem herself: category mismatch, not quality. Rewrote her own strategy file and killed an entire content format. I'm not in this loop. I didn't notice the problem. I didn't tell her what was wrong. I didn't write the fix. The agent compared her output against reality, diagnosed the gap, and rewrote her own instructions. That's the difference between an agent that follows orders and an agent that improve. If Claude Code is already connected to Slack via MCP then in the steps you outlined: >you tell Claude Code something
>Claude Code calls messages_send
>Slack message sent Where does Open Claw even come in? Why do we need the Claw if Claude Code + MCPs can do it all? -
