True! I guess I think of “training” instinct as separate from “collecting data” for your instinct to work off of, which is all life experiences, knowledge, etc.

Trusting your gut instinct is the only way to train it. You can’t reflect on the outcome of trusting your gut instinct, if you don’t make decisions based on it. And if you can’t reflect, you can’t improve.
