I have personally only used the GPT-5 thinking version the whole time. I think most of the complaints I'm seeing from people are based on how the routing happens in ChatGPT. I was definitely using a very powerful version every time.

OpenAI GPT-5 Launch: Industry Impact and Recognition
By
–
When @OpenAI asked me to be part of the GPT-5 launch video, it felt like a full-circle moment. GPT-4 changed my life, and I’m grateful I had the chance to give back this time. Proud to have played a small part in GPT history.

AI Generates Complete Vampire Game With Art and Soundtrack
By
–
For the game, look at the details like particle effects and the way the light moves around the character. It also came up with the soundtrack and effects. My prompt was just "a vampire survival game, pixel art"

GPT-5 Creates Impressive Poem Camera App With Auto-Generated Details

A compilation of experiences I made with GPT-5 in one shot.

The poem camera app is particularly impressive because the model came up with all the details, like the way the photos stack in the gallery, the photo developing animation, etc pic.twitter.com/MHHAMVDdcBA compilation of experiences I made with GPT-5 in one shot. Fastest Path from Vision to Design Implementation

You’ll see more soon, but the best way to explain this is the fastest way yet you can get from your vision to actual implementation. You can really make any design you want.

AI Excels at Visual Pattern Recreation and WebGL Implementation
By

One other thing that also impressed me is how good it is at recreating anything it sees, even when dealing with complex visual patterns. For instance, it was able to give a really good implementation of Apple's liquid glass effect in WebGL just by looking at an image. That was… pic.twitter.com/QiK1FSFHqT

Advanced Agent Excels at Long Agentic Flows and Parallel Tool Execution
By
–
It’s a really, really, good agent. I was able to run long agentic flows with no issues. It’s also better at explaining why to run a certain tool vs another, and it has the best results on running parallel tools I have ever seen. This is particularly important for flows where,

GPT-5 Excels as Coding and Collaboration Tool
By
–
GPT-5 is the best coding model ever. But what really impressed me is how good of a collaborator it is. It tackles large implementations much better than before (at times it was able to refactor thousands of lines of code at once) and also debugs large repos way faster and with

GPT-5 Early Access: Revolutionary Impact on Coding and AI Adoption
By
–
I had early access to GPT-5. It will do for coding what GPT-4 did for LLM adoption.
It's fast, really smart, has great taste and aesthetic sensibility. This is electricity arriving in every home. A before and after moment for how we build.
