I see it coming back eventually, particularly as world models get more and more developed. However, we're still one to two years away from really seeing amazing world models that will bring utility to AI-driven glasses. The next couple of years are sure going to be interesting!

Because the world models need to know your house, which is different than mine. That requires data. The only way to collect that data is to get a robot into our homes which can learn about them.
