And FSD now is way safer than letting a human drive. Certainly is way smoother.

Tesla asserts its self-driving is earlier than any 2008 or 2018 car

Show me a 2008 car that can drive itself. Even a 2018. My Tesla does. Everywhere. No one else was earlier.

Self-driving car older than Chinese rivals, Tesla’s no-patent stance
By
–
My car self drives. Which is its best feature. It's eight years old. And is still smoother and better than what the Chinese have. Tesla doesn't believe in patenting things. But you are right. Now China is pulling ahead and will stay that way. One of the advantages of having 1.3

Humane and Rabbit shipped but vapourware suggests unlikely success

Humane and Rabbit shipped. Vapourware is for things that don’t ship at all. Anyway the point is that success is probably not in the cards for this.

Grok directs car to In-N-Out, car handles navigation safely

That's not how Grok works. Grok just tells the car, "Go to the In-N-Out," and then the car figures out how to get you there. It's not going to kill you.

xAI providing brains for Neuralink and Tesla Robotaxi
By

Someone has a spreadsheet to figure out which way is best to go. Truth is, I think the resource-sharing argument is the one I would be making in my head if I was Elon. Having xAI be able to provide the brains for the following makes a lot of sense:
1. Neuralink
2. Tesla Robotaxi -
xAI and Tesla data could build world model, keep separate
By

There is so much value in xAI and so much value in Tesla. There would be incredible value if the data from Tesla and xAI were brought together to build a new kind of world model. If I were Elon, how would I keep the companies arranged? I still see having xAI separate as a better

Grok AI will power Neuralink, Optimus, Tesla Robotaxi and more

Elon gets to build one AI that'll work on all of his companies. You're not listening—Grok is going to run:
1. Neuralink
2. Optimus
3. Tesla Robotaxi
4. Quite a few other things in our lives. -
Grok to run Optimus, Tesla, Neuralink, in charge of lives
By
–
You aren't listening. Grok is going to run all three of those. You're going to talk to Grok, which runs your Optimus, runs your Tesla, and your Neuralink. Grok is going to be in charge of all of our lives soon. And yes, the car is driving with a completely different model, but
