I’ve yet to replace my voice with an AI voice (outside of short demos). I almost did once when I made a video and the audio got corrupted. But opted to reshoot instead.

I think it's even more dystopian than that. Did it deliver the dopamine hit or not? Algorithms will optimize (as they already are) to deliver a dopamine hit. If algorithms can cut out the middleman (the creator), they will.

I completely agree. The lines are getting so blurry. And my worry now is that, not too far in the future, people won't even care if everything they watch was generated with AI.

One issue with talking about AI so much is that when I try something new, people assume I used AI. lol I just put out a new video in a completely different style than normal (video essay) and a handful of comments claim they can tell it was made with AI (it wasn’t).
