This is important, because it's also not clear to me that venture funded firms are delivering in terms of what we hear people want out of e.g. AI. When it comes to education, health, social care, policing these "markets" don't "scale" quick enough for venture.

Funnily, spent a lot of time during my PhD trying to understand Parisi, as a big sections of my thesis work were based on Hinton and van Camp as well as Ackley, Hinton and Sejnowski which both used mean field theory.
