Wait until we have LLMs that work with JavaScript libraries directly in the browser. 90% of the websites we know today will die to be reborn in the form of a 'conversational agent'. No more endless pages and sections that nobody reads.

Meta challenge on video with 65% accuracy and $1M
By
–
If you want some literature, here's a meta challenge on VIDEO, where the best algorithm only achieved 65% accuracy. (The random baseline is 50%) And on video, it should be even easier, right? (With a $1M prize pool!!!)

Critique of AI detection: 90% vs 98% in simple processing
By
–
The worst part is they must be all happy: "Hey look René, we managed to detect photos at 90%." For info, you use dlib and opencv and check eye alignment with a threshold without AI, just with image processing on thispersondoesntexist, you get 98%.

Critique of Fake AI Experts Using Beginner Methods
By
–
And let’s be clear, applying a bad method happens. But at this level, it’s a beginner level in AI. Especially since people who have this kind of idea present themselves as 'AI experts' and great knowers while occupying positions of responsibility. And so it does.

Incompetence: AI trained on 20,000 random photos to detect deepfakes

MDRRRR !
Ils ont entraîné un… pic.twitter.com/59LsnB3luLAnother fine proof of incompetence from @ComCyberMI on AI topics last week on @TF1's 8pm news. The 'experts' explain that they trained an AI to detect deepfakes… USING 20,000 photos from thispersondoesnotexist… LOL! They trained a discriminator on GAN methods, yes

OpenAI, Meta, Apple—all these American giants have announced that their latest AI advancements will not be available in Europe. We're talking in particular about the pressure from European regulation and the instability tied to technological issues on the Old Continent. But

The False Good Idea: AI Cannot Detect AI Content
By
–
La fausse bonne idée ?
— Defend Intelligence (Anis Ayari) (@DFintelligence) 23 septembre 2024
Les plateformes se retrouvent impuissantes face à la vague d’IA générative qui déferle.
Croire que des IA puissent détecter du contenu généré par IA relève davantage du sophisme que d’une vérité démontrable.
Il faut trouver d’autres voies. pic.twitter.com/aXNaNBrDOZThe False Good Idea? Platforms find themselves powerless in the face of the wave of generative AI that is sweeping through. Believing that AIs can detect content generated by AI is more a matter of sophistry than a demonstrable truth. Other paths must be found.

Replicate simplifies API management and saves development time
By
–
Replicate makes my life so much easier for API management, security, and efficiency that I don't think I'll replace it. It would take me about 5 days of development to set up my serverless and API management, and I don't want to invest that time just to "earn more" :).

Acknowledgments for fine-tuning and API deployment on Replicate

Thank you Pierrick, and really thank you flux-schnell for the fine-tuning and the immense gain achieved by deploying an API on Replicate.

AI’s impact on US elections: detection will become impossible
By

J'étais sur le plateau de @franceinfo hier pour parler de l'impact de l'IA sur les prochaines élections américaines.
— Defend Intelligence (Anis Ayari) (@DFintelligence) 19 septembre 2024
I’m not straying from my message: in the long run, it will be impossible to detect content generated by AI. And it won’t be the completely false content that will grab our
