That is the best lore I've seen in a long time in open source AI communities. There is a startup, Manus AI, that launched a product accessible only by invitation. And in three days, an open source replica of this startup, named Anus AI, has appeared.

Nothing at all for now. Because you need to develop desktop exe apps or in-browser apps and it's ultra annoying and long to do. The only ones for now but still in closed beta is Manus AI. But it will come 🙂

Copilot + VSCode ineffective, IDE with agents much better

Oh yes, we don't have the same experience with the tools or the feedback at all. (Personally, I've never been able to use Copilot + VSCode because it was so crappy, whereas with IDEs with agents it's a whole different story.)
