Could it have been built solely with llm+tools/mcp as the product? Everything I build with vibes gets overbuilt by default and finding myself thinking of how much to strip back to just llm plus tools. It’s worked perfectly for a couple of things I tried but ofc depends on if

yeh kinda feels similar to the mini essay i linked. tacking on ai to a system that isnt built for it or can't support it properly. so then there's duct tape versions which feel way worse than the original, because its hidden by such a big promise of the future
