1. This seems unusually early for NeurIPS registration to open. 2. The registration fees are $375/$800/$1000 for student/academic/industry, which is a pretty typical breakdown for NeurIPS. Could industry afford to pay more? Cf. @FAccTConference
, which charges industry 3-4x more.
