Nah, disagree. At DisplayWeek months ago we saw new projectors from LG, Samsung, BOE, and others that are pretty amazing. A quarter the size of a sugar cube driving new waveguides. Are they perfect? No. Still fairly limited field of views (not wrap around) but pretty amazing to
