Grit Over Excuses: Building Success with Focus and Hard Work

People are asking me how to start… Like, if you don't have clients and can't afford to run your own ads, then how are you supposed to "get results" and prove you can do this? This is going to be a hard talk. Fragile souls won't like this, but the real ones will dig in… I got my start with just $60 dollars that I only had because I paid half my electric bill that month. So, your sad stories won't work on me. It was a pathetic $2/day campaign, but I kept working on it until it started converting. But… "You had @russellbrunson as your mentor." Yea, and I FLEW TO IDAHO ON MY OWN DIME, RENTED A ROOM, and WORKED FOR FREE FOR 30 DAYS IN HIS OFFICE. If you want to be successful, you gotta fight homie. The world don't want to share with you. The world wants to take from you. Yea but I got a job… so did I. Yea but I'm tired after work… so was I. Yea but I have kids… so did I. Yea but I'm not a techy… neither was I. I didn't have AI. I didn't even have YOUTUBE! I had to code my websites, not drag-n-drop! I canceled my cellphone bill for awhile and cut out all but 1hr of TV. I didn't play video games for years. I started waking up at 5am. It's going to suck. A LOT. But also, abundance is so real. Right now, any hour of the day, money is changing hands. Cash registers are ringing and credit cards are swiping somewhere in the world at all hours of the day. All you have to do is know WHAT THEY ALREADY WANT TO BUY AND STEP IN LINE. The money is already going to be spent. People already have things waiting in their checkout carts, and grocery lists, and wish lists. They are going to refill their protein shake supply. They are going to buy more make up. They are going to need another haircut. Pay attention to lifecycles. Patterns. Habits. You don't need books, you need to open your eyes and pay attention. Go to the mall and watch people. Watch how they shop. Watch how they pick out items. You want to be a real one, ask them after they bought something "hey that "thing" looks awesome, what made you pick that one out?" Ballsy… ✅ Genius… ✅✅ As for AI, it's pretty simple. They are machines and they work based on prompts. Good prompt, good output. Bad prompt, bad output. Better prompt, better output. Just become amazing at prompting and watch how fast you accelerate. Stop researching all the weird fringe tools, just pick 2-3 top tier tools and go all in. People are asking me about the "DoEverything" tool or the "Poe" tool or the "Galaxy" tool. FOCUS!!! Claude, Manus, Replit, and MindStudio will do just about everything you can think of. Landing page, copywriting, images, videos, automations, mobile apps, anything. Need a simpler stack… Claude + Replit. Full powered thinker and full powered builder. Exchange Claude for Manus if you need more images and videos. For under $100/mo you can have access to the worlds most powerful AI tools. Use them. Go build websites for your favorite restaurant and ask for nothing in return. Build a sales page for your cousins photography business and ask for nothing in return. Find ads from brands you like in Facebook and make them 5 new ones, without asking anything in return. Get the reps in. Build the social equity and portfolio. Do this for a year (not 2 weeks) and watch YOUR WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE CHANGE! It's really not that complicated. It's just hard and no one wants to do hard things anymore. I don't win because I'm smart. I win because I'm willing to eat the punches you're too scared to get hit by. I win because I just keep putting one foot in front of the other. The hate, it fuels me. The critics, they drive me. I WILL WIN. I WILL ENFORCE MY WILL UPON THIS ROCK AND IT WILL MOVE OR I WILL DIE TRYING. If you don't have that. Just move along. P.S. I'm not saying "work all the hours." Busyness is not a flex. Making money while you sleep is a flex. Your business running while you are on vacation is a flex. I'm saying you need grit. You need focus. You'd be surprised what 90 minutes of pure grit and focus every day with consistency can do. 90mins is 6x15min tasks a day. That's 42 tasks a week or 168 tasks a month. Your problem is you keep starting over and complicating the plan with new projects. Learn what focus actually means because it doesn't mean discipline and will power. Focus = narrowing.
