I posted about OpenAI chips 3 months ago. Interesting if it’s a separate venture that Sam Altman also runs. Maybe to make it easier to use chips from Nvidia and Rain, or to keep MSFT partnership clean, or the battle of research vs commercial inside OpenAI.
